Dr. Sayani, raised in Canada, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Electrical and Software Engineering. After completing his undergraduate degree, he moved to San Antonio to complete his Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Incarnate Word, Rosenberg School of Optometry. While in optometry school, Dr. Sayani was an active member of several optometric associations and received several awards, scholarships, and recognition.

Dr. Sayani has participated in several volunteering opportunities such as school screenings and Special Olympics. He completed a clinical externship at a VA in Viera, Florida, where he trained in the management of ocular disease, with an emphasis on glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. He also gained experience in the management of pre-operative and post-operative patients for cataract surgeries. This rotation enabled him to gain extensive interaction with a vast array of conditions in the geriatric population. He then went on to complete a clinical externship at Alpha Eye Care, where he gained experience in the management of dry eyes and contact lenses, including specialty contact lens fits and amblyopia.

Dr. Sayani is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. In his free time, Dr. Sayani enjoys cooking different cuisines, traveling and learning about different cultures and traditions, swimming, playing badminton, and chess.

Dr. Sabu was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston - Clear Lake before moving to Chicago to pursue her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry. During her time in optometry school, Dr. Sabu was actively involved in various clubs and honor societies. She also contributed to numerous volunteering opportunities, including vision screenings for underserved communities.

Dr. Sabu completed significant externships during her optometry education. At Davis Eye Care, a private practice in Oak Lawn, IL, she honed her skills in routine eye care, dry eye treatment, multifocal contact lens fittings, and urgent care. Additionally, at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, IL, Dr. Sabu gained valuable experience diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, providing pre- and post-operative care, and managing conditions like amblyopia, pediatric care, and binocular vision. Her time at these externships has deepened her expertise in comprehensive eye care and vision therapy. She is committed to providing personalized care to each patient, ensuring that their visual health is optimized and maintained.

Dr. Sabu is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. In her free time, Dr. Sabu enjoys baking, making pottery, crocheting, and reading.

Dr. Rubiya Koshy was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She graduated as Salutatorian from Richland Collegiate High School and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Incarnate Word, Rosenberg School of Optometry, where she also received a scholarship. Dr. Koshy is a Beta Sigma Kappa member.

Through the UIW Eye Institute, Dr. Koshy provided Spanish eye exams and gained experience in cornea and contact lens care, dry eye, ocular health, glaucoma, retina, peri-operative care, low vision and rehabilitation, pediatrics, vision therapy, visual neurophysiology, and adult care services. Through her externship site at Vision Source, she gained exposure to specialized dry eye treatments including IPL and LLT treatments.

Dr. Koshy was also an extern at Brooke Army Medical Center, where she provided extensive care for many acute anterior segment cases for active-duty service members and soldiers training on Fort Sam Houston. She also treated various posterior segment conditions.

Dr. Koshy strives to combine her work ethic with empathy and care to make a meaningful difference for her patients and to provide the most thorough care possible. In her free time, she enjoys nature and spending time with family.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Dr. Villanueva earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with honors from the University of Texas at Dallas before completing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry.

During his clinical training, he gained extensive experience diagnosing and managing ocular diseases such as dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. He also has experience in providing pre- and post-operative care for cataract surgery patients, fitting specialty contact lenses including Ortho-K and scleral lenses, and managing pediatric nearsightedness with modern myopia control strategies.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Villanueva enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, traveling, running, playing guitar, and attending live music events.
